Belsyre Court Renovation Shortlisted for Oxford Preservation Trust Award

Updated: Feb 9, 2021

Savvy are proud to announce that we have been shortlisted for the Oxford Preservation Trust (OPT) awards 2020, for the outstanding work carried out at the stunning Grade II Listed Belsyre Court in Oxford.

This architectural gem in the heart of Oxford, built in 1936, provides a unique example of brick Jacobethan styling. Works included the removal and reinstatement of roof finishes on new insulation, extensive façade repairs and cleaning, the removal and replacement of three passenger lifts and the internal refurbishment of large parts of this mixed use residential and commercial building.

The OPT is a chartiable organisation set up to ensure that the best of Oxford’s past is conserved, as well as helping to create a positive future for the city. The judging panel is comprised of people from various skill sets and backgrounds including architects and historians. The awards ceremony will take place at the end of February and conducted via video conference. Watch this space!
