A recent project at the historic Wheatley United Reformed Church required the demolition of an existing meeting room adjacent to the Church and the construction of a new replacement, titled the Mulberry Room (pictured below). The room was finished with Maple panelling and Maple flooring, in keeping with the natural materials in the original Church. The result was a light-filled and contemporary space for multiple uses, with the benefit of bespoke solutions for storage concealed behind the Maple panelling. Savvy also undertook a refurbishment of the Church hall with new storage space, acoustic panels fitted to the ceiling, restoration of the original wooden floor, and redecoration.
