Studley Priory
Oxfordshire

Studley Priory is a large Elizabethan country house located in the Oxfordshire countryside, dating in parts back to 1176 when it was the home for Benedictine nuns. Constructed out of Cotswold stone, this large manor house has Grade II listed building status. Working on a building of this nature has led the Savvy team to employ rarely-used traditional craft skills, and to obtain unusual but historically accurate building materials in order to ensure that these works blend and harmonise with the original fabric of the building.
